I got curious about the little bitty Allen wrench. It looks more like a .050 mm. So 5/10 of a mm I guess (0.001968504 inch). The amazing part is they could stamp it with numbers. It looked more like a 090 with just eyeballs, so the trusty and ever handy iPhone comes to save the day.
It does not matter to anyone else, and it sure solves no real problems to know for sure. But I just wanted to know what size it was. I ma a fountain of useless information.
We flew the airport where we keep our airplanes. The two on the ground were both in hangars, and we were in one of the leased 172. They will be going back to the leasing place soon. It will be nice to get rid of the two expensive toys. The project we had to have them for is done, and we don't need to keep them anymore. The 172s have been handy to have around, but they are like using a 30 year old rental car. Mechanically sound, but flat out ugly, and beat up. They have had a lifetime of being used as flight trainers. Lots of different sweaty men have been in there. We spent a lot of time just cleaning up the interiors. They will go back cleaner, and in better shape than we got them.
