Honnold reminds me of cave diver Sheck Exley. Exley was a record setting cave diver. He went deeper and further into caves than anyone ever had. He wore a rebreather and would stay down for hours to decompress. Right up until the time he miscalculated and drowned while diving the world's deepest sinkhole in Mexico. The 1,080-foot-deep Zacatón cave.
