Decklid Grounding Straps
‘86 Carrera Coupé. Replacing factory whale tail with a Getty ducktail. Original whale tail has flat coated grounding straps what run from the mounting bolts between the tail and hinges to where the hinges are mounted in the engine bay. Are these grounding straps needed for anything with a fiberglass tail or can they be removed?
