If you’ve never tried this, you ought to make a traditional style sauce using habanero peppers instead of the seranos that are typically used. Just cut one or two in half and add them to the sauce to infuse their flavor. It’s not so much the heat that makes it good, but the vastly different flavor that a habanero imparts to the sauce.
