You can replace the fuel lines (delivery & return) connected to the fuel lines from the tunnel by making room for better access. With the transmission cross member in place, access to the fitting/s for the fuel line/s is next to impossible.

Support the transmission and remove the transmission cross member. With the transmission cross member out of the way, you could easily and conveniently reach the fitting/s for removal and installation.

Before you install the transmission cross member back, test run the FP and make sure the installation is good and not leaking. BTW, have you considered replacing the other old fuel lines in the tunnel?
