There are two types of IT guys. Those that know what they are doing and others can follow along, and those that make things so confusing so they feel important because they don't really know anything. There are a lot of the latter group.
I have seen GPOs set to the default and then all but a couple OUs put in the deny permissions section. Why not just apply the GPO to the OU you want it for. Or, say you need a segregated LAN for people to cast to the TVs for activities and they just make a separate SSID that is hidden for the people to cast on, but use the same VLAN as the public and wonder why porn is getting cast to the TV. What part of segregated do they not understand? I ain't the smartest accordion in the Doppler radar, but wow some of htese people are nuts. Like the guy that thought RAM drives were so fast why not make it a boot drive. Um...
Went home last night and in the nice warm weather washed and waxed the DD. Thunderstorms today. I guess we won't be burning off the tree trimmings todnight.
