Yeah, 6"x16" Pirellis on wire wheels, huge Girling discs front and rear (factory). IIRC reading once, at 6K it would suck up all 12 quarts of oil and spit it back out in 3 seconds. The earlier DB4s had a real problem with that in that gravity only works so fast and you'd lose connecting rods. I backed off pretty quick while keeping an eye on the oil pressure.
