As stated above, you can steer a tractor with the rear brakes. Easy peazy at low speed.
Have done it with a skid of logs behind and with an over built bush cutter on a too small tractor.
It can be heart stopping, however if it happens at highway speed when a malfunction on the three point lift valve allows the load to slowly sink then be jerked back up to the selected carry height.
That can pick the front wheels up at about twenty mph.

Full disclosure: I am older now and am aware I can die if I do stupid stuff like that.
