When we raced in Germany the 'green party' kicked up a stink about noise pollution
Every boat had to have a silencer fitted to the 3ltr 2 stroke engines, despite tons of over taking each lap, without the noise all the drama was lost
Unfortunately no shock and awe is the future

I still miss the 18000 rpm V10 days
