I tried to watch an E race a year or 2 ago but only got thru about 20 minutes of it. To me, it is full-size slot cars - the handling, the acceleration, the noise (or lack thereof). And there was a lot of banging around between cars (intentional to add 'excitement' I guess?). The logical extension to the series is to simply remove the drivers from the cars and have them drive remotely from the pitlane to make an even better connection with the young audience they are targeting. And it seems inevitable anyway for driver safety.
