I don't think this was 'allergic' but it was really, really bad. going from dripping sweat all over to shivering on the couch wrapped in blankets. In the motorcycle accident I had four pins put in my leg, I was knocked out for the pin installation and I had injections after surgery (in the hospital) then they sent me home with codeine with no ill effect (except constipation
).
I know our bodies change over time but never had a bad reaction to anything they gave me (or the rec drugs I did back in the 80's).
Very perplexing, and concerning seeing as I will have surgery some time in the future.
