Again...why?
If it's only noise, and if you're in an *experimenting* mood..take your old fan and reshape the leading edges into pseudo "curve" shape...that's what makes the fan more quiet... but again, why?
Maybe simply work on better grade sound deadening on the firewall, and leave the fan alone ??
