My car did not have the factory compressor. I bought one that was pretty small in comparison to the factory unit. I wanted the smallest physical size so it would fit right next to the AC condenser fan in the trunk. I have used it a few times at an autocross, and it pumps fine. It is NOT cool looking and I keep it in a plastic grocery bag stuffed in the corner of the trunk. All I care about is will it pump air.
I bought it 20 years ago so I doubt I can find one just like it again.
