I worked at a shotgun/ clay pigeon (sporting clay) range similar to this a long time ago.
We would hide behind a piece of plywood with a skeet thrower and simulate scenarios for the shooters.
I still remember the shotgun pellets occasionally ricocheting off the plywood.
What could go wrong?
