Thank you all for your posts both here and on BaT.

In the end it is just a car. Whether the owner is emotionally attached to it or is comforted with the idea it will fetch more money to help pay bills down the road, fine.
If the seller was able to get more money for it on the side and go back on his commitment to BaT that is fine as well.

Buy the owner/seller and not the car right?

I was only going to drive it... and like most things years from now when I am gone it too will be dust.

Thursday @ 1:30am EST I received an email from someone at BaT asking a couple questions and I have yet to hear back. I'm not sure I will be bidding on any more cars that are not being sold by the actual owner.
