In 2016 I started looking for a 87 or 88 Porsche 911 Coupe, which had been my top shelf wish since the G50 came out in 1987 when I was a senior in high School and worked at the Porsche dealership in the body shop.
I have owned six different Corvettes (don’t hate), had two, which I sold, to pursue this build. Not sure it is related but as soon as I sold them the itching (from the fiberglass) stopped.
Well, after searching for over a year, looking at about ten cars, which every owner claimed to have the best one, I picked this one up in October of 2017. I drove it as a weekend car and fixed/replaced what I could to keep it running until I completed my research and planned out my build.
