I had a boss once, the General Manager of a hotel I worked at in the Denver Tech Center. He was no nonsense, a big 6' 6" Scottish guy. We had weekly staff meetings, and they started promptly on the dot in the conference room. He would then look at his watch, walk over to the conference room door and lock it. NO ONE was allowed in at that point. Might be extreme, but people learned fast to be there on time. Happened to the Director of Marketing, then the Food & Beverage Director. "Sorry, this meeting has started, come back next week."
