I get emails from the PCA. Today the email included a link to Father's Day gifts (then click the link on the page to see the PDF of gifts if you want). You expect anything from Porsche to not be cheap, that's no great surprise.

Some of the items did catch my attention as being especially extraordinary, even for Porsche.

First up is this beauty! No, it's not a V1 or a Passport (whatever their super duper model is). Weird, $99. Is this Porsche or Harbor Freight?

Then we have this, WTF? Is this like a shake weight or something? $295

Limited bundle. This includes a Shake Pen in stainless steel and a pen holder styled like a 911 car silhouette with a shiny silver finish. The Shake Pen is characterized by its innovative shake technology: With a short and quick movement of the wrist, the refill appears and the pen is ready to write. Repeat the same movement and the refill disappears inside the barrel again. The shiny silver colored barrel of this Shake Pen is made out of high quality stainless steel and is engraved with a vertical guilloche pattern. The front and end parts are also made of shiny stainless steel and the number of the limited edition is engraved on the end part. This number and the year of the edition are also engraved on the rear of the 911 car silhouette. The bundle is packaged in a luxury gift box that has the Porsche Design logo print on the top and "Shake Pen of the year 2019" on the inside cover.

Then the piece de la resistance! I told the missus not to bother with the "static" model.
