Glaucoma runs in the family and my mother had it before she passed. For the past year I have been taking drops in the left eye only as I have some optic nerve damage and glaucoma in that eye only. After a year of taking drops the eyeball pressure is down and the glaucoma is arrested(however there is no reversal of glaucoma).
Glaucoma onset is like high blood pressure. Can sneak up on you if you are not proactive.
Hope this helps somebody.

Welcome to the club. Glaucoma drops here as well. As well as age related macular degeneration in the left eye. Get shots in the eyeball for that. But hell, I've already beaten the mortality tables, so stuff is happening.
