I go to an eye surgeon a real Ophthalmologist, not an optician.
He checks the eye pressure, looks at my retina, and cornea. My dad and his mother both had detached retina issues. I want to avoid that.
Going to an optician is OK if all you want is a prescription for your vision. If you want a real eye evaluation, go to a real medical professional, not just some dude in a white coat.
