My car is lower than Euro spec thanks to the PO (hmmm) and I found there is a 10mm spacer in the rear. I run stock tires and just at the point where a finger doesn't fit in the space. I don't rub but it's soooo close. My studs are original too and they are just at the point where I feel ok but any more and nervous about not changing to longer ones.
