I like Youtube in Kodi and that's where I spend too much time. It's not officially licensed by YouTube but a 3rd party build. No silly advert stuff. Search on a topic and you get line items with a little synopsis on the left with a thumbnail. The comment section is absent. If interested in exact app info just ask. Never updated but it's only been since Christmas that I have been using.

So Kodi is working now ? It was pretty useless last year so I removed it . I get Youtube on my smart TV and it works OK.
