This is really what it boils down to and the shop can charge whatever it wants for a particular job. I just reglued the sagging vinyl to my door pockets and easily have 6 hours in each door when you factor in removing the panel, stretching the vinyl, gluing, clamping, sourcing missing hardware and so on. Maybe the owner would want to take a look at some sort of punch clock for some of those times but then again, the owner might not even care. I sure have run across customers like that in my time.
