Our local PCA region has a "show and shine" event at a local Hooters. The manager blocks off an area for us to part up front. We have some of the waitresses come judge the cars, and we all go eat a crappy meal. One year a beat up, worn out 924 won the car show. The owner had left his baby seat in the 924, and that was was the fact that swayed the judges. We have done the same thing at Twin Peaks, the mountain lodge themed joint with nice scenery.
