19k is laughable. 43 is definitely closer to what it would take to buy a similar car. It looked clean and sorted, so over 45 is my estimate.
The best way to credibly tell the value is to tell your insurance company to replace it. Tell them you want a new 84 Carrera, similar mileage, upgrades etc. Don't sign anything or agree to anything until you get your number. I take it you didn't have agreed value on the policy?
BTW I could part your wreck for over 19k. A complete running 3.2 is 16-20k on the classified alone.
