I just refilled an empty plastic gun oil bottle with it. I can't even remember what was originally in it. Just one of those bottles with the removable dropper kind of top.

I really like the idea of buying a whole quart for less than what I would pay for a couple of ounces of "gun oil". I've been using it for years, and have some guns that I oiled with Mobil 1 over a decade ago that still have all of their internal parts moving freely. It seems like any other dedicated "gun oil" seems to dry out and get gummy after a few years. I've had single actions that sit too much reach a point where the trigger wouldn't snap into the hammer notch when trying to cock it, muzzle loaders where the sear wouldn't move freely enough to catch the hammer, bolt guns that would not cock and catch because the trigger/sear were gummed up, and that kind of thing. Since I switched to Mobil 1 I have never had these issues.
