Neat truck. I've never seen one like it. Looks like a Cummins to me.
The factory put Perkins diesels in few Scouts in the early 70s. I know of 1 that still exists. They settled on a Nissan engine for the production diesel. They put a tractor engine in big pickups in the late '60s
