I just returned from the airport where we keep our Cessna 182. It is in annual. He took the pants off of the 182!

Actually the wheel fairings that cover the tire and wheel and brakes. They help with wind resistance and thus fuel burn. He was inspecting the brake disks. Cute little brake pucks, about like you see on a 100 CC motorcycle. Lots of panels get opened, and the innards are inspected, and cable that need lube get lube, and and FOD is removed, and interior panels are cleaned.
The mechanic is a buddy, so some chit chat, and then head off to our hangar. He moved our 182 to his hangar, and put his 1946 Cessna 140 in our hangar while our 182 is in his hangar. His Cessna 210 is in another hangar.
We bought a used tug but it had a bald tire, and it was flat. So it goes to a lawn mower shop for a new tire. Just spending money as fast as a congressman.
