I now buy from a local butcher or green market the day of or day before I am cooking.
I also use Butcher Box for my proteins, I just stated with them a few months ago and I am VERY impressed with the quality and location. I am in Florida, all my meat is locally sourced. Super impressed.

I'm with you Jim - I like butcher shops. My grandfather was a food purveyor and my dad took me to markets from the time I could remember. I'm picky about food. I'm a big proponent of buying locally, in season and quality.
