I called Doug this morning.
He said the circles where they line up the three wheels on the H-3 are larger than they look - 6ft in diameter. That may have changed, he didn't know.
The co-pilot (right seat) leans out and gives the pilot verbal: "Left a foot, easy back a foot", etc.
He flew Bush the first.
