Yup, mum n dad had one of these around the time my brother and I were found under a local rock in Visalia. Turquoise and white too.
55 Chevy two door was the only car I had ever seen my dad walk up to and look at during a car show and lose himself in thought. He wouldn’t say a single word, just a slight shake of his head and he would just walk away. They gave up the 55 for a more sensible “family” car. I know to this day, out of all the cars he has ever owned, he wishes he still had it.
I had always thought it would be cool to be able to find one, then deliver it to the garage and then leave. Letting them to discover the surprise. I just haven’t been in a position to acquire one.
