I think my senior year was when I bought my 924S. I had worked a job for a year to save up for it, and I still think I borrowed money to buy it for $3000 (this was 2004 or 2005, was probably close to the bottom of the market. I see they are worth more these days!). It once belonged to a retired NBA player that I can't remember the name of. Man it was a phenomenal car. I miss it. It was eventually was sold to a friend of a friend who went on to drive it across the country and daily it for years, presumably without ever changing the timing belt which had 50k+ miles and 10 years on it by then.
Last I heard he sold it, but it was still running. Would love to know where it is now.
