My parents (rest in peace) adamantly insisted they were abducted by space aliens once. They were traveling by car at night on a two-hour trip that they swear only took a few minutes. They both insisted they got into the car to pull away and only seconds later they arrived at their destination. Neither had any recollection of the trip. None. They don’t remember talking to each other or anything. They were seriously spooked like it was some kind of catch-and-release operation. The time just vanished. They both claim they were shocked asking each other how they got here so fast.

For years and years they never varied once from that story.
