Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Most sharks today are totally benign. Some like Tigers and Bulls do have a reputation..
Bigger fish and bigger teeth.
We humans always taste yucky to them compared to fish and crustaceans, except during those few feeding frenzies in history which have been hyped up.

"Attacks" are usually biting to explore a potential easy food source which is quickly rejected.
They swim past and ignore us after identification. Every day.

Ignore that movie. Do go in the water.
Enjoy the heck out of that water as the king of all beasts.

Oh, I am right there...... as an avid scuba enthusiast, when life and time permit, I search for those elusive buggers. People are actually surprised when I educate them on the number of different sharks that are out there when they tell me how only evil man eating things live in the ocean[emoji849], seriously?!?!? My post was only in jest.

Doesn’t mean I want to swim up and start poking one of the big boys on the eye.
Whites
Bulls
Tigers
Or Oceanic White Tips(strangely aggressive species)

Did a “shark tank” dive a number of years ago. 7 different species with a total of 30 sharks. One of the most zen like experiences I have ever had. Dive master called an end to the dive at 55 minutes and we had only 50 cuft tanks.
Truly hard to adequately explain the feeling I had in the water in close proximity to those animals.
