Been a long, hard winter up here. Glad it’s over.
I love certain aspects of each season, but also loath certain aspects of each season.
Living on the 45th parallel pretty much guarantees four distinct seasons for me. Trouble is adjusting to the wide variance in duration of each of the seasons. The worst, ironically, is the occasional compression of Spring. Some years Spring lasts only days; foot of snow on the ground Monday followed by two-week 80° draught beginning Thursday, which happened a couple years ago.
