I would be impressed with Hamilton gapping the field, but he did it in a superior car and Rossi ran away from all of them today in what is more of a spec series. The Indycar race had everything this race didn’t, beautiful track that would make you pay a price if you put a wheel off, wheel to racing with a little gentle bumping that no one complained about or protested, and a bunch of fearless rookies challenging the vets. Even the NASCAR race at Sonoma held my interest more than this. It’s a shame.
