I've spent many holidays in South Pasadena at the Inlaws. Their part of town was built mostly in the 19teens and twenties, wealth families from all over the country now had easy access to this area by train, and many built beautiful homes in craftsman and other neat architectural styles. Many of those old houses have a carriage house in the back of the yard.
As I'm walking around those neighborhoods looking back at those old carriage houses can't help but wonder what classic old treasures may still be locked up in them.
Cheers Richard
