I have a neighbor, a retired house builder that really does love to paint. He showed me his stash of Purdys, all different sizes, many of them 20 years old, all of them in perfect condition, lovingly stored and sorted in a plastic box. I won't even buy a Purdy because I'd just ruin it; For some reason, I can't not get paint up to the heel and then the ferrule - paint that will not scrub out no matter what I do.
Patrick, I really am sorry that happened. I know you like to keep your stuff nice, and I'll bet that is just making you sick.
