Go to change the oil, car dosen't start...
I was oing to change my oil yesterday so I went to move it forward a bit. I start it up and all I get is a chugging sound. It does that for five seconds and stops going.
I popped the hood and checked over the connecters (AFM and spark plugs) tried it again, same thing.
It sounded a lot like the plugs were miss firing, or that it wasen't getting any fuel.
I checked all the plugs, they were sparking, so I then moved to think it was a fuel problem.
I got out a can a spray fuel and gave the intake a really good spray. Tried starting it again, and it stared right up!
I reved it for about a minute, trying to keep the flow of gas going to it, and when I let my foot off of it, the revs idled at 600rpm. I then readjusted it to 900rpm. And everything seems to be fine.
The car was sitting for a week before I did this, I think this might be somthing relating to the fuel pump.
Any ideas guys? Thanks!
