My understanding is deer maintain a range of about one square mile emanating from their place of birth. They typically live three years, on average, but there are some very big ol’ savvy bucks out there.
As such, you’d have to take out every deer every year within a square mile of your garden to eradicate the spongiform-ridden scourge.
I’m all for it.
