My wife really wants a Macan. She doesn't ask for much but has been hinting at trading in or selling her Lexus for a while now. We drove a 2015 S at the Porsche dealer today. She was practically giddy after driving it. The PO bought it at this dealer and they've done all of the services. One owner, pretty loaded with PASM, park assist, adaptive cruise, lane change something or other, 21" wheels, sport chrono, premioum package plus. List new was over $73k. She loves it. Really well cared for, looks new inside. Drove great. I'm really impressed with the way they drive. She also loves the color combo, Gray over black. We then drove a new 2018 2.0 that I did not like as well. In sport mode it was ok but in normal model it took a while to spin up and get in the powerband.
The part I'm struggling with is it is higher miles than I'd ideally like to buy. It has 64k on it. They would sell it around $34k. She doesn't drive much. 25k on her Lexus in 4 years. We'd probably put a few more on this. It is out of any warranty and an aftermarket service contract is crazy expensive.
Anyone with any opinions or experience owning one into the 100k range in mileage? Am I crazy to buy out of warranty or should be bite the bullet and look for a newer one and pay quite a bit more.
