I'm not sure if Porsche cranks can be done this way but the process is done by spraying on molten metal or by actually welding the crank on a rotating fixture then in both cases, turning them down.
The crank should be straightened afterwards...and rehardened (nitrided).
Expensive processes...both of them...and probably not much guarantee.
