ABS Module
I own a 2003 525i with the transmission stuck in safe mode, took it the mechanic for a diagnostic and he came with this:
"The ABS Module is isn't communicating with the main computer, let's change it and hopefully the transmission will be OK; by the way, your transmission fluid is quite dirty so you may need to overhaul your transmission as well"
Does this sounds feasible to you guys, I'm aware that the model and year had some software issues however, is there any credibility that the ABS MODULE could cause this car to go into SAFE MODE?
