And people wonder why I prefer to do stuff myself
The ceiling fan was obviously an afterthought. Some knob cut a hole in the tin roof to install the noggin to fit the fan. There was also evidence of the roof leaking at the patch. Now I need to fix that patch as well. I have secured the noggin to the joists and put in a gyprock patch. Base coat of plaster repair done and I’ll wait a day before top coating.
