Oh man, nice truck. i hope your diesel buddies are right, my experience was not good. At 100k. I put 10 k worth of parts in. Both turbos roached, both heads cracked, the entire valve train was shot , done , worn out , ruined . The timing cover was eroded through from the hot egr gases . All of these parts $ made Porsche parts look cheap .
On top of the 10k I spent, I got the joy and pleasure of removing the cab , and it was one of the harder jobs I have ever done . All my cab bolts either spun the speed nuts up in the cab, or broke off. this was not a rusty truck
There is nothing easier about the 6.4. It was an absolute nightmare to work on . I had the cab off twice in 6 months .
My truck, was not towed with heavy ,or tuned just a daily driver before I bought it .
I did delete, and tune it when I had it apart,and I will say, after that, it was an animal. Super fast . I really liked the truck, but I was just too damn scared to own it long term I think the cab off thing finally pissed me off after the second time
Yours looks really nice, I hope you have good luck. Can you legally delete where you are at ?

Matt, I know you know your stuff, but I hope you either have good luck with it, or sell it before it eats your kids first few college semesters funding ,
