The richly-decorated tombs found in the Valley of the Kings were built over 1,000 years
after the pyramids. Many changes in ancient Egyptian culture and beliefs took place during that time span.
Architect Jean-Pierre Houdin has an interesting theory about how the pyramids may have been constructed.
