As a 6'4" long time Porsche enthusiast who played with aircooled 911s for 15+ years my vote is also for a 987.2 Cayman! Try and find one with the memory seat option. Once you find the sweet spot of the seating position you'll realize you have plenty of room in the car. You may find you'll have even more headroom in a 987 vs 997 due to the lack of sunroof.
