PCA tries to pick a east coat, west coast, central states location, rotation of locations. In July in the USA most of the country is hot. Hershey, PA and Savannah, GA have been the two hottest that I have been to. Monterey, CA was in a class by itself for cold. It is the only parade that I took my jacket to, and wished I had my coat. Jay Peak was really nice, Keystone, CO was nice except our room sucked. French Lick, IN was rainy, but not hot.
The forecast seems to be for some rain all next week. It looks like it is going to rain on my parade. Next year will be rain free, and stupid hot. I guess they are trying to get the Savannah parade of the top of the list as hottest ever.
In the end, California will get to have both the hottest and coldest parade after next year.
Michigan and Chicago were warm, but not bad, Charlotte was comfortable. San Diego was the perfect San Diego weather as always. Fort Worth was hot, but not that bad. Salt Lake City was hot for sure, but we would drive for 30 minutes and be up in the mountains and it was really nice. A North Dakota parade would be great, I need to get to that part of the country.
