Awesome thread, used it to refresh, repair and adjust the sunroof mechanism in my 1981 SC.
One add,
I had lost one of the felt pads toward back of the sunroof. (laying at the back of the sunroof compartment.)
Took a 1/8" thick felt pad and cut to size, used a leather punch to get the holes for the small metal teeth that hold the pad down. Plus the 3M glue.
Worked Perfect.
