They need to update the Model S and possibly X if they want to increase their margins. Sales of those cars have fallen 20% since last year. We leased a Model S a bit more than two years ago, and if they don't update it by the time our lease is up, we will grudgingly look elsewhere. Problem is that no one else seems to offer autopilot and a great large screen dash like Tesla does. Performance is great too.

I have never leased a car before, but this thread, and comments about their viability were one of the primary reasons we didn't buy, the other was the pace of technology. We didn't want to be left with an orphan car if Tesla went under.
